What do you like about Lebanon? Nothing much. Well... it is better than the other Middle Eastern countries. Most of them have the one religion in rule, which is the Islamic one. I like the people here in Lebanon because they always have hope and big dreams. I like the fact that we have a lot of religions and that there are Lebanese all over the world. What do you hate about Lebanon? I hate a lot of stuff. I hate the fact that the system does not care about the people or about the nature. The Lebanese do not respect nature. We don’t respect art, human rights, we don’t try to make a change, we are brainwashed. We have no such thing as freedom. And when we react, we react wrongly. For example two graffiti artists have been arrested. A march has been organized where they painted most of Hamra walls. They didn’t draw any artistic graffiti. Most of the stuff was against the Syrian system and I do not think that spraying something against the Syrian system will change the fact that the Lebanese system hates graffiti artists. Are you involved in an association or a movement? In many. We always form events my friends and I to help homeless people or clean the beach. I also help every movement about human rights and freedom or nature. Helping each other is a must. Earth is our mother; we should protect it and clean so we can stay alive at least. How do you see the future of your country? I always hope for the best but I don’t think the future of my country will be better if we don’t make a change. We should learn to respect each other. We should respect other opinions and start thinking on our own, not based on others’ opinions. We should follow or like a politician because of what he is doing not because of his religion. We also should focus on arts/artists and nature more. If you had to leave Lebanon, where would you want to live? Anywhere that respects humans more. A dream? I dream of humans leaving religion, politics, money and everything behind. We should be just unite as brothers and focus on our earth.
